Still time to submit your feedback on South Bristol Liveable Neighbourhoods proposals

South Bristol has been selected as the second Liveable Neighbourhood project in Bristol, covering the wards of Bedminster, Southville and Windmill Hill. The project aims to create a better balance between how streets are used for vehicles and people, making them safer, more pleasant, and healthier places to live.

The study area in South Bristol was chosen for the Liveable Neighbourhoods project because the area has a high demand for walking and cycling routes, and is close to major developments, such as Bedminster Green, Whitehouse Street and Temple Quarter.

From 11 July to 13 October 2024, the Council are seeking your feedback through online maps, surveys and drop-in events where you can discuss your ideas. Please see the dedicated webpage for more information and to contribute to the map – www.bristol.gov.uk/sbln-engagement.

The South Bristol Liveable Neighbourhoods team have had over 4,000 comments and have spoken with over 500 people at the events they’ve run over the course of this engagement.
