Improvements to Little Paradise, Stafford Street and Leicester Street

Between Monday 11 November and Sunday 22 December diversions will be in place as works take place to introduce new cycling infrastructure and improve junctions on Little Paradise and Stafford Street.

The closures are for Dandara Living, who are developing Stafford Yard on Plot 4 Bedminster Green, to complete improvements to Little Paradise and Stafford Street.

This includes additional cycling infrastructure on Stafford Street to connect to the Malago Greenway that runs through Bedminster Green and on to the city centre.

As part of the Stafford Yard development, Dandara Living are also opening a new connection as Leicester Street will be extended, and opened to pedestrians and vehicles, to join Little Paradise to Mill Lane, and this will be completed before works begin on 4 November.

The closures will also enable ETM to improve the junctions of Little Paradise and Stafford Street with Malago Road to allow for safer and more accessible pedestrian crossings.

Little Paradise will be closed between Malago Road and Leicester Street from 11 November to 24 November. This will be a full closure to vehicles and pedestrians.

During this time people will be able to access Church Lane and Little Paradise car park via Stafford Street and Leicester Street.
