Clarke Street works update

From 28 October to 6 January Clarke Street North will be closed for 10 weeks between Philip Street and Bartley Street to allow for road resurfacing, repaving and footway improvements.

During this time there will be no access to Clarke Street North for vehicles. All road users will be able to access businesses in Windmill Farm Business Centre via Bartley Street instead. Pedestrians and cyclists can also access the area by the new footpath leading to Metal Works from Dalby Avenue and Whitehouse Lane.

A dropped kerb crossing will be added to improve accessibility to the new connection from Bedminster Parade to Whitehouse Lane and Bedminster Green through the Metal Works student accommodation site.

These works are being delivered as part of the Bedminster Green transport improvement project and are being part funded by Watkin Jones, the developer of the Metal Works accommodation on Plot 3 Bedminster Green.
