Engagement drop-in at the Bedminster Library of Things on Wednesday 2 April

Officers from Bristol City Council will be available to answer questions about East Street projects and Bedminster Green and Whitehouse Street Regeneration at the Bedminster Library of Things on Wednesday 2 April. You can also hear more from the council’s Travel Roadshow team.

If you live locally, visit East Street to shop or eat, travel down the street regularly, or work at or own a business in the area, then please drop in to Share Bristol Library of Things, 47 East Street on Wednesday 2 April between 12 and 2pm.

You can ask us anything related to East Street and Bedminster Green and Whitehouse Street Regeneration. For example, areas you may be interested in could include:

  • Understanding the recent and ongoing works to the A38
  • What’s coming up in the development of Bedminster Green and Whitehouse Street
  • Understanding the recent works on East Street to remove broken planters and street furniture and replace them with new items
  • Find out how Bristol City Council can help your business or organisation travel more sustainably
  • Get information about offers from Bristol City Council, including free bus tickets, bike trials and cycle training.
  • Alongside the drop in, a free ‘Dr Bike’ service will also be available where attendees can get their bike serviced alongside advice on how best to care for their bike.

Dr Bike will be available from 10am to 2pm, no booking is required.
