Expressions of interest sought for an occupier for the GreenHouse
Bristol City Council is inviting expressions of interest from organisations who would like to occupy the GreenHouse on Bedminster Green for up to three years.
The GreenHouse is a large and attractive single story timber framed building set within a private garden, surrounded on two sides by timber decking and with ramped access. The building is approximately 3,900 ft2 and built in the style of architect Walter Segall.
To support the development of businesses, groups, and activities that benefit the local community, the GreenHouse is being let at a flexible rent. Priority will be given to those who can show how they will positively impact the area.
The following would be considered:
- A single tenant wishing to take on the entire building
- A single tenant looking to co-locate within the building
- A pre-formed partnership between two or more organisations
- An organisation wishing to take on the lease and manage other occupants within the building
The deadline for submitting an expression of interest is 4pm on 315th May 2025.
The GreenHouse sits within ‘Plot 5’ of the Bedminster Green Regeneration Area.
Following the end of a development agreement between Bristol City Council and Dandara Living in 2024, the council is exploring options for how best to bring forward residential-led redevelopment of Plot 5, including the Greenhouse site.
